Decide on screen reader for user-space:

App prototype ideas:

A screen reader console emulator?

Current a11y seem to focus on exposing the applications' a11y nodes in a tree view. But that doesn't teach FOSS developers how navigation actually works in a screen-reader environment. I suggest some kind of always-on-top window where a developer sees a "Karaoke lyrics" style marking the current read-progress of a prompt combined with useful visual buttons, indicating both what action a button can cause and what key-binding would be required to press it.

Research needed

Is there any prior art on UEFI and screen readers?
